Saiyok Pumpanmuang Highlight

Muay Thai/Kard Chuek/Kickboxing highlight of Thai boxer Saiyok Pumpanmuang.

Saiyok Pumpanmuang is a well-known fighter who frequently fights Kard Chuek rules on Thai Fight. He is also a former Rajadamnern and Lumpinee stadium champion.

However, it wasn’t always plain-sailing for Saiyok…

Before he became “Saiyok”, the aggressive fighter we know and love went by the name Saiyoknoi Sakchainarong. Saiyoknoi was a great talent, winning the Rajadamnern title at an early age and was a dominant force in the heavier weight classes in Thailand.

As a Rajadamnern champion, Saiyok was set to defend his belt against Singmanee Sor Srisompong. During the fight, Saiyok was accused of fightfixing and was stripped of his title. He was no longer welcome in Thailand’s biggest stadiums and quit boxing to become a fruit merchant in his hometown in northern Thailand.

One Lumpinee stadium promoter gave Saiyok a second-chance at life as a fighter. His name was Lieutenant General Sukkhatat Pumphanmuang.

Saiyok took the pomoter’s name and refreshed his career, winning the 154lb Lumpinee title in 2008.

Saiyok’s signature move is his brutal left elbow and has been the weapon of choice for many of his highlight reel knockouts.

Some of the fighters featured in this 15-minute+ highlight include Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee, Fabio Pinca, Armen Petrosyan, Antuan Pinto, Jordan Watson, Chanajon PK Saenchai Gym and Karuehas Eakchoompon.
